"MOFO"ってなんですか？

はじめまして。

アメリカ（西海岸）の友達から送られて来たメールの中に"MOFO"ってあったのですが、なんだかわかりません。
どなたかご存知でしたらおしえてください。

よろしくお願い致します。
文章の内容は下記のようなものでした。

I was dazed with an earful of H2O and the sound of one Steve　attempting not to laugh henceforth his sincere empathy confirming the fact I was looking like one foolish MOFO...I said short...you can already see the end of the story...stay with me...it gets worse....
