お待ちかねの「眠狂四郎シリーズ」始まりました。

狂四郎に惚れてしまった女に一言

この二時間程「無頼者であ・れ・ば・あ・る・ほ・ど」を何とかかんとか英語にぶち込もうと難攻不落・切磋扼腕・七転八倒・無念無想・一念発起・念仏一生・神仏祈願・一蓮托生・艱難辛苦・呉越同舟・名所旧跡・臥薪嘗胆・内典外典、、、キリが無いので止めますが、どうしても出来ませんでした。この部分を「無頼の徒以外の言い方でも結構」ですので「世の中には受け入れられない俺みたいなどうしようもない人間」みたいな解釈でも、、、意味さえ通れば、、、又、「さらば、今晩一晩だけ」以降はご自由に、上記は余りにも色気無さ過ぎです。ぞくぞくっと来る大人の色気を込めての訳文であれば感謝感激雨霰。
勿論、本文自体をゴロッと書き直して下さっても結構です。「自爆特攻隊」も勿論歓迎です。でも、「安易な自爆テロ」だけはご勘弁、

諸事ご多忙の折、勉学に勤しまれている様子拝察仕り、ご同慶の突き当たりに御座います。将亦、周りへの世辞の弁も一段の進歩と。人間、得てして緊張感の中より名作佳作が生まれ出ずると、かの柴田連三郎先生も私めに教え諭しておられましたこと昨日の如く思い出される秋の夜長でありました。師匠の文体文面を相当部分拝借仕りし拙訳を下記に掲示させて頂き、ご意見賜りますれば今生の幸せに存じます。後半部分は一寸色気有るやろ、どないや?

[overnight」(一晩中、今宵一夜は、夜通しで)をどっかその当たりに挿入するのが良かろうがどこに挿入するのがよいかは判らん。辛いのは(一夜限りのニュアンスが出せないことじゃな)

拙者は難しい単語はトンと知らぬ故、出来るだけ易しい単語で攻める。尚、前半で「女性の本能」=「母性本能とでも言うべき精神的なモノ」について述べているが、狂四郎はこの場面では「女性の奥深くしまわれている=性本能」に狡猾にもさりげなく話題を変えておるゾ、これが女殺しの女殺したる所以か。何っ?、拙者の名を問われるのか、柴田錬三郎=柴錬(シバレン)の異母兄弟で、斉藤錬三郎、通称(サイレン)じゃ!　何卒お見知りおきの程を。



以下は、懸詞、instinctive -vs- distinctive 判らんだろうな、判らん!　遊び過ぎだ!

サイレン師匠ご苦心の跡覗える作品深謝であります。日頃のmabomkさんにすれば極めて穏健でそのもの大人の節度有りの文体、しかしそれなりの色気も十分感じます。でも肝心要の「無頼者であ・れ・ば・あ・る・ほ・ど」の前半部分は置きざりにするところなぞ我が儘放題の性格見えたり。その当たりは「自爆攻撃隊」にお任せしようか?

Just because a man seems outcast means for some women of good will not to keep away from him but to come to believe to be the last one to take care of him. I see you to be of that kind. And I am the outcast who grant you your wish the night of today.

または、

いや、それにしてもなんと独善的なせりふ。男の照れか、これこそがサムライの証しか。
