すいません。アメリカ人とメールのやり取りをしているのですが、
こちらの言いたい事がどうも伝わらないようでして困っています。

相手に民間の船を使ってある液体の荷物を送ってもらうのですが、重さが全部で400ポンド（180ｋｇ程度）あります。相手は200ｋｇのドラムに詰め込んで送るつもりなのですが、こちらはそれでは港で受け取りが困難なので、35ポンド(１６キロ程度）のバケツ（pail）１０個に小分けして送って欲しいと英語で伝えたのですが、どうも相手に伝わってないみたいです。それで新しく英文を書いたのですが、おかしなところがあれば指摘してほしいです。


I want you to send it to Japan by ocean.
However, I want you to subdivide to not the drum but 35lb pail and to send it.
It is difficult to carry a big drum.
It is difficult to keep a big drum in my warehouse.

10 pail container of capacity 35 pounds each, not packed in
one big drum of 400 pounds. This will ease the cargo handling
and the following customs formality here upon arrival. Please let me know per return if you can or otherwise.

日本語訳
その荷物を船舶便で送って下さい、梱包は400ポンド入りのドラム缶ではなく、35ポンド入りのドラム缶10缶に入れて、そうして頂ければ到着後当地での荷扱いと通関手続きが簡単になりますので。　それでOKかどうか、また、何か不都合がある場合も、折り返しお知らせ下さい。
