今、英語の長文を読んでいて、その長文の問を解いているのですが、答え方がわかりません。

How much of our normal daily requirement of water comes from metabolic production?　　
という問なのですが、その答えとなる部分が
Metabolic production of water only accounts for 11.5 per cent of the normal requirement of 2.5 litres a day.

これは、どう答えればいいのでしょうか？

It comes 11.5 per cent of the normal requirement of 2.5 litres a day.
かと、思ったのですが・・・。

私の理解が間違いであればこの回答は無視をして下さい。

Multiple Choicesの問題でaa)が正解でbb)は不正解だったけど如何して？
との質問だと思いました。

aa)　Metabolic production of water only accounts for 11.5 per cent of the normal requirement of 2.5 liters a day
bb)　It comes 11.5 per cent of the normal requirement of 2.5 liters a day.

Metabolic production of water only comes to 11.5 per cent of the normal requirement of 2.5 liters a day.
であれば正解の１つに数えられるはずです。

うむ～
ANO１さんの説明のように『体内に必要な水の量（2.5リッタ）の11.5％』を云うならば, "It is 11.5% of. . ."と言うか

"It comes to 11.5% of. . ."
であれば問題は無いと思いますが、
"It comes 11.5% of. . . "
は違和感があります。

と言うことと思います。

It is .. でいいとおもいますよ。

comes from のところにひっかかているのでしょうか？
ようは「毎日に（体内に）必要な水の量のうち、代謝物からくるのはいくら」→「代謝物に必要な毎日の水の量はいくら？」

代謝物としての水は、体内に必要な水の量（2.5リッタ）の11.5％
account for は結局は　is と言うことです。
