英語で『最近ジムに行ってる？』ってどのように表現するのでしょうか？

Are you going to gym lately?
Have you gone to gym recently?

上記の表現で良いでしょうか？

思い付いたのは、

　How is your exercising at a gym lately?
です。「通っていない」のであれば、「通ってない」という答えが得られるだろうから、こういう尋ね方でもいいのでは、と思ったのです。
お示しの英文にはおかしなところがありますが、それは既に No.1 の回答者が説明されています。

"Did" you go to "the" gym lately?

"lately" tells us this sentence was written in the past tense.

Have you "been" to "the" gym recently?
"gone" means you are still in the gym. So you should use "been."

I am Taiwanese but I've been studying English for 12 years and that's my major^^
