英語の和訳について

僕は今年大学受験を控えているのですが、
英語の和訳の問題の点数がのびません。
　
模試でもいつも和訳はとれなくて困っています。
そこで、和訳の点数を上げるのに
オススメの問題集などがあれば教えてください。

少し難しめの問題集を教えてくれると
うれしいです。

教科書の訳はできるのか。
じゃあ基礎はできてるのかな。

自信ないところはカッコでくくって書いて。想像でもOK。
まったくわからないところは
カッコのみの空欄にしておいて。

My father used to write business letters that alluded to Shakespeare.
These allusions were effective for conveying complex messages
to his associates, because, in his day, business people could make
such allusions with every expectation of being understood.
For instance, in my father's commodity business, the timing of sales
and purchases was all-important, and he would sometimes write or say
to his colleagues, "There is a tide," without further elaboration.
Those four words carried not only a lot of complex information,
but also the persuasive force of a proverb. In addition to the basic
practical meaning, "Act now!" what came across was a lot of implicit
reasons why immediate action was important.

Children in nursery school tongue-show most often when they're involved
in activities such as playing with blocks, drawing with crayons or even
kicking a ball. The greater the concentration needed, the more often the
tongue appears. In one experiment, as children made their way to the top
of an ever-narrowing set of steps, their tongues started to creep out.
Even children who are not tongue-showing to begin with start to do so the
moment they catch an adult watching them.

A couple of days after Nepal's crown prince gunned down several members
of the royal family ― including his parents ― in a drunken rage before
shooting himself, an American friend phoned me at my California home.
"Isn't that a shame," she exclaimed. "It never would have happened if
the king and queen hadn't been pushing that poor guy towards an arranged
marrige. What a barbaric custom!"
Obviously, the incident had struck a chord with American readers.
Perhaps it was because the story had all the ingredients of a modern day
Romeo-and-Juliet tale: a passionate prince; his beautiful sweetheart who
is considered unworthy by his family: the authoritarian parents who
threaten to disown their son should he go against their wishes and marry
the person he loves. People in Nepal might still be wondering if other
causes might be responsible for the crime. But, in the United States,
popular opinion seems quite clear on the matter: it is all the fault of
that antiquated, tyrannical institution, the arranged marrige.

教科書全部、和訳しろといわれれば和訳できますか？

そして今まで読んだ長文の教材、
全部、和訳しろといわれれば和訳できますか？

まずは、そういう話です。あたりまえですけどね。
それができればほぼ解決のはず。
これが、ごくふつうの和訳対策。
そこまでやって質問してます？
あとは詰めの作業がひつようなひとは、ちょっとやるだけ。


具体的に、
あなたの現在の和訳レベルと
志望校のレベルを書いてくれれば
具体的にアドバイスできるかもね。

志望は東北大です
模試などで出された長文などは
復習をしているので大丈夫だと思います
教科書レベルなら全然普通に訳せます
