1952年に、関係住民やブランデンブルグ、メクレンブルク・サクソニー・アーンハールト、チューリンゲンのランダーの代表者を全く考慮せずに、これらの歴史的なランダーは、14の『ベジルク』（郡）に置き換えられました。
