英単語 clean の意味について

英単語 clean の意味について質問です。
clean の意味を Oxford Dictionary of English で調べると下のように記述されていました。(稚拙な訳である点はご容赦ください)

しかし、研究社の新英和大辞典によれば、clean には下記の意味とともに「全くの、完全な、余すところのない」といった意味もありました。これらの意味は下記のどの部分に該当するのでしょうか。

Oxford learner's dictionary では

accurate:
done in a skilful and accurate way

巧みにかつ正確に行なわれた

が近そう。質問の中では 3.2 では?

いずれでもありません。

確かに、この「まったくの」の意味は他の大辞典にも載っています。
たいてい、complete の意味と説明されています。

Oxford でも、この後に副詞の意味が出ていると思います。
informal: used to emphasize the completeness of a reported action, condition, or experience.

研究社の形容詞・副詞辞典によると、
この副詞用法が発展的に形容詞として用いられるようになった、とあります。

make a clean break
make a clean sweep
などは成句になっているとありますが、
頻度順に載っていて、語義が厳選されている Cobuild にも、
make a clean break は出ています。
