So,why do chili peppers fool our brains?
One interesting point about chili peppers is that this heat sensation is found in all mammals.
This suggests that over time chili peppers,as a means of survival ,created this sensation to protect themselves from being eaten.
In other words,chili peppers become spicy to stop themselves from being eaten by mammals such as humans. Birds,however,are immune to this sensation.
