1.　「私は全然知らない人に話しかけられた」のですから、I was spoken by （によって）a total stranger

2.　「そのジャズシンガーは、彼女の旦那より人気がなくはない」ということは「同じぐらい人気がある」ということですから、The jazz singer is as popular as her husband.

3.　あってます！しかもWhichの前にカンマをつけることで、前の文全体を受けてますね！ 上出来！

4.　If it hadn't been for your financial support, I could not have completed this project. 時制を後ろの文に合わせてれば正解でしたね！残念！

1) I was spoken to by a total stranger on the way back home.

：speak to で他動詞ととらえる。
：で、目的語の me を主語にして I にする。
：me は当然、なくなる。
：元の主語 a total stranger には by を付けて後ろに回す。



2) The jazz singer is as popular as her husband.
：less popular 「より少なく人気だ」つまり「～ほど人気が無い」
：それを not で否定しているから、「～より人気が無いわけではない」
：そこから、「同じくらい人気だ」という意味になる。



3) The result of the U.S. presidential election was unsatisfactory, which greatly disappointed everyone.
：正解。



4) If it had not (hadn't) been for your financial support, I could not have completed this project.
：If it weren't for は「今、～がなかったら」
：ここは「過去のあのとき～がなかったら」という意味なので、If it had not (hadn't) been for を使う。
