２文をneitherを使って１文にする問題

I don't have time to go on holiday.
And I don have the money.
⬇️
答えは
I have neither the time nor the money.となっていました！

問題文には入っていない time の前の the が、答えではなぜ必要なのでしょうか？

ご質問が今ひとつわからないのですが、まず、

「I don't have time to go on holiday.」は
「I don't have the time to go on holiday.」とすることもできます。
どちらも正しいです。

次に、
「I don't have time to go on holiday.」と
「And I don't have the money.」
を1文にするなら
「I have neither the time nor the money to go on holiday.」
もしくは
「I have neither time nor money to go on holiday.」
です。「to go on holiday」が必要です。

一方で、
「I don't have time to go on holiday.
And I don't have the money.」
を
「I don't have time to go on holiday.
I have neither the time nor the money.」
と言い換えることも可能です。
この場合、「to go on holiday」を除く代わりに
「the」を必ず入れることで、何のための「time」と「money」であるかを明確にしています。
「And I don't have the money.」に「the」が必要なのと同じです。
