プロジェクトが炎上しているのに関わらず、彼らはクライアントとコミュニケーションを取りマネジメントしようとか、イニシアチブを取ってコントロールしようとはせず、ただただ、言われたことをやるだけ。
そのため、クライアントから言われれるがままで、スコープは当初から広がりまくって、プロジェクトがさらにまずい状態に陥る。それでも彼らはコミュニケーションを重要と考えない。

Though the project is delay so much because it is faicing a lot of problem, they don't try to comunicate with clients for management, they just do what clients requests.

So they let clients order they around, the scope of the project become wider and wider, and the end they will have more trouble. But they still don't care about communication or management clients.

ほぼ直訳でかつ間違いもありそうで恥ずかしいのですが、前半では、馬鹿正直にそれしかやらない、のようなニュアンスを伝えたいです。
ちなみに、書き言葉ではなく、人に口頭でこのニュアンスを伝えたいと思っています。
