(1) The cut-off date for petty cash is every Friday.
(2) Please deposit money for the tuition at the bank.
(b)の場合だと:
(1) Cash on Hand is closed every Friday.
だから現実的に考えて、 "pay ~ at the bank" か"deposit money for ~ at THE bank" と訳された方が良いと思います。

This is correct.
After reading "Ukul's" replies, I came to realize that I composed my answers with wrong assumptions. I somehow thought that "Ukul" had been actually bothered by some non-Japanese speaking people who don't seem to understand these rules in her office. So I thought she was going to post a sign on a wall to inform/instruct people what they must do. That's why I chose very simple words, hoping anybody who reads those signs will understand. This is also the reason why I chose to use "your tuiton" ,rather than "the tuition". "runee" is right that "tuition money" may be a better choice than "tuition", though people will understand both ways.
I wanted to say a few words with regard to 2). "runee" is also right that there could be more than one banks that will accept the tuition deposit. I wasn't careful enough to consider all cases. But the way "as follows" were used in "runee"'s sentece is incorrect. Please consider the following two forms of sentences:
a) do something as follows:
b) somethings are as follows:
"renee"'s sentence is of the form a). When you use the form a), what follows after this sentence must explain "how" _something_ is to be done. For an instance, in the case of tuition money deposit, it would have to describe the exact steps necessary to deposit the money in a bank (i.e. - fill out the deposit slip, - take the slip to the cashier, - etc...).
You can use the form b) for listing items, such as banks and bank accounts. Here's an example:
b) The banks that accept the tuition depoits are as follows:
- ABC Bank
- XZY Bank
You could also say something like this:
The following banks will accept the tuition deposits:
Or
You may deposit your tuition at the following banks:
Good luck!

Thank you for your inputs, Mr. James_bond. I just wanted to make a few comments in regards to your suggestions.
First of all, I think it is common in the world of accounting to state that cut-off is such and such day/date. As far as I know, the way that I wrote is acceptable to most accounting professionals. However, I like the way that you revised my sentence. For most people, who are not familiar with accounting jargons, the way that you wrote clarifies the ambiguity in my writing.
Secondly, as you might have noticed, I simply translated a word to word in the second sentence. Also, I thought about a case that there are more than one bank to deposit money for tuition payment. Thus, I decided to write the way that I did, so Mr./Ms. Ukul can add as many banks and bank accounts that he/she wanted in the translation that I did.
Not to be offensive, however, I still like my translation better than yours for the reason stated above. The only revision that I can think of to this translation is:
(2) Please deposit MONEY for THE tuition at the bank/banks as follows:
Name of Bank: ABC
Bank Account Number: 123456
Name of Bank: DEF
Bank Account Number" 456789.
In short, one thumb up for your (1) and one thumb up for my (2) with revisions. What do you think of it?
Thanks a lot.
P.S. I am assuming that you don't read and write Japanese. Am I correct? If not, we should use Japanese when we respond to threads like this. Most people would not appreciate the way that we are communicating in here. If you don't write and read in Japanese, I suppose that you could state so in the comment section of your personal page. Then, everybody would understand why you always respond in English. See you!
Please deposit money for the tuition at the bank
とか
Please deposit the tuition at the bank

I wanted to give a few comments on the answers given by "runee".
> (1) Cut-off for petty cash is Friday.
Each Japanese word is translated correctly, but as a sentence,it doesn't make sence. There are two minor errors. The word "cut-off" must be augmented by "date" or "day". Please consider the following:
"The cut-off date for the petty cash is Friday".
It is a correct sentence, but it's got a wrong meaning. That leads to the second error. The word "Friday" must be preceeded by "every"; otherwise, the sentence will mean that the petty cash account closes on Friday and will never open again.
Alternately, you could say something like this (this is my best choice):
(1) The petty cash closes every Friday.
It's simple and it makes a lot of sense.
> (2) Please deposit the tuition(授業料) at the bank as follows:
If you want to list the bank name and the account number, this might be a better sentence:
(2) Please deposit your tuition in the following bank account:
Here is my prefered way of saying, given the original Japanese text doesn't include the bank account information:
(2) Please pay your tuition at the designated bank.
Again, it's very simple and it makes a lot of sense.
I hope "runee" is reading my comments....
Keep up the good work!
James Bond
