Linux(centOS5）サーバー root宛てメール

本日、商用電源の停電があり、自宅サーバーLinux(centOS5）の電源が落ちたので、停電回復後、電源を入れサーバーを起動させました。
起動後root宛てに下記のメールが届くようになりました。（再起動後にも同じメールが届きます）
/var/log/messages　を見ても意味がよく分かりません。
これは、ハードディスクのセクターが壊れていて読出しができないとゆうことなのでしょうか？？

3日前にHDDを購入して増設した後だったので少し沈んでいましたが、ファイル・システムを再度構築することによって回復しました。
