年越しうどんは夕べ食べたのだとすると、さっきのでは間違いですね。その前提で書き直します。

Last night, I ate Toshikosi-udon which is flour noodles eaten on New Year's Eve, although Japanese customs say it should be soba in stead of udon, which is buckwheat noodles, with my family .
And in the New Year morning I ate mochis which are rice cakes with my family.
How many hours do you have until the New Year in the U.K.?
