冠詞・形容詞・副詞の選択問題です。

自分で、分かるところもありましたが、自信のない問題も少なくありませんでした。
同じ単語が使われているのにどうしてそうなるのかとか、答えはわかるけど、どうしてこの答えになるかの理由とかがいまいちよく分からないところもありました。
見直しのため、一つずつに訳と、少しでいいので解説をつけていただけたらと思います。

　　訳：子供たちは一晩につき、１つのテレビ番組しか見られない。
　　解説：a day, a week など、a に、「～につき」の意味があります。

２　He　caught　me (ウby　the　arm).
　　訳：彼は私の腕をつかんだ。
　　解説：catch 人 by the 部位　が、決まった言い方です。

３　I'd　like　to　hire　a　baby-sitter (ウby　the　hour).
　　訳：ベビーシッターを時間単位で雇いたい。
　　解説：by　the　hour の by が「～単位で」の意味、the も「単位の the」用法

　　訳：とても面白い冗談で、みんなドッと笑った。
　　解説：such ... that が「とても～なので．．．」という重要構文；so ... that もあるが、それなら、so funny a joke の語順となる

　　解説：another + 時間で「さらに～」という意味があります。

　　訳：この村の人口はとても少ない。
　　解説：人口の多い少ないは、large, small で表す。

８　I　decided　not　to　buy　that　dress.　The　price　was　too (イhigh).
　　訳：そのドレスを買わないことに決めた。値段が高すぎる。
　　解説：expensive は、The dress was too expensive. のように使います。The price が主語なので high。

　　訳：彼女はそのパーティーに最新のファッションで身を飾って現れた。
　　解説：latest が「最新の」という意味。後ろに何か脱けているはず。fashion を補って考えました。

　　解説：fewer が「よりすくない」という意味。

　　解説：be of little value が「ほとんど価値がない」という意味。

　　解説：16歳は sixteen years old だが、形容詞にして名詞の前に置くときには、sixteen-year-old

　　解説：be unable to ＝ cannot；incapable は、be incapable of ～ing
