アメリカのホテルのポリシー 英文の翻訳をしていただきたいです。

今度利用するホテルの喫煙ポリシーに以下のように書かれているのですが、どう解釈したらわかりません。

「 No smoking has been done in the unit. Non-smokers can smell smoke on curtains and upholstery very quickly, while smokers are unaware of it. Extra cleaning costs will be incurred if smoking has been done inside the unit. You may, however, enjoy your cigarette outside on the lanai PROVIDED that the glass door is completely shut and no smoke enters the unit. 」


最後の二行の「 You may, however, enjoy your cigarette outside on the lanai PROVIDED that the glass door is completely shut and no smoke enters the unit. 」は、
「ドアを完全に閉め切り、煙が室内に入らなければ、喫煙しても良い」という意味なのか、
それとも、「ドアを完全に閉め切り、煙が室内に入らないようにしたとしても、喫煙はしてはいけない」という意味なのか、どちらなのでしょう。

これはベランダに出て窓を完全に締め切って、煙が絶対に室内に入らないようにすれば吸っても大丈夫です。

という意味です。
