Hi!

Firstly, Please understand the OCR of your question available in Japan only. I do not know OCR software worldwide. I checked some OCR applications for a half year ago. Of course, the domestic OCR can recognize English characters.

For your information, you can try to use the leading OCRs trial version.

In my personal opinion, I do not recommend any software comparing with a former OCR which I used. I stretch the point, Panasonic's OCR 'Yomitori Kakumei' should be tentative OK.
But, I point out you can add "Google document" into your choice. It features OCR online. I tried to read a sentence of Arabian characters through Google OCR and succeeded it.
