距離の表現

距離の表したについて質問があります。

A---B-C

Bが起点で『(Bから)Aに行くより(Bから)Cに
行くほうが近い』と言いたいのですが、

C is closer to B than A. でいいですか？

CはAよりBに近い。

C is closer to B than A.

BからAに行くよりBからCに行くほうが近い
It's faster to get to C from B than to A from B.

BからCへの距離のほうがBからAへの距離よりも短い。
The distance from B to C is shorter than from B to A.


伝えたい内容によりけりで色々な言い方があると思いますよ。

C is closer to B than A to B.とした方がいいような気がしますが。

C is closer to B than A.

→　①　C is closer to B than A (is to B)
→　②　C is closer to B than (C is to) A

の両方の意味にとれる可能性があります。　普通の場合には　C is closer to B than A. で問題ありませんが、間違えなく伝えたい時は、　C is closer to B than A　is to B. とすれば誤解は生じません。
