I wanna go to desert area in Japan

I heard that theres a desert area in Japan and people can ride camel and take photos? Is it easy to go from Tokyo?

Unfortunately, there is no desert area in Japan, but has small ones.

The most famous one is "Tottori Sakyu". One hour trip by plane plus ground transportation.

The picture of above URL looks very big, but behind that, there is forest.
