1)We(主語) call(動詞) the light that◎ we(主語) can see(動詞) coming★ from the sun white light.

2)To understand★ why◎ this(主語) happened(動詞),we(主語) need(動詞) to know★ why◎ light(主語) has different colors.
注意=need toを助動詞と考えるとknowは(動詞)

3)Let’s see(動詞) what(主語)◎ happens(動詞) when(接) we(主語) shine(動詞) white sunlight at an angle through a pane of glass.

4)What◎ you(主語) can’t easily see(動詞) (whayt~seeまでが主部(1語でないので主語ではないですが主語のようなもの)) is(動詞) that(接) glass(主語) slows(動詞) down and(接) bends(動詞) some parts of light more than others.

5)That(主語) is how Newton(主語) got(動詞) a beautiful rainbow of colors from white light.

6)The entire spectrum of what we(主語) call(動詞) electromagnetic radiation (The entire~radiationまでが主部)goes(動詞) beyond visible light in both directions, from very low energy radiation to very high energy radiation.

7)That(主語)’s why◎ sunlight(主語) can travel(動詞) through space to the earth.

8)On our chart the weakest (least energetic) radiation(the weakest raditationが主語) is(動詞) on the left-hand side of the chart, and(接) the strongest(主語) is(動詞) on the right.

9)In a swimming pool, you(主語) can see(動詞) the bottom of the pool because(接) the light(主語) passes(動詞) through the water to the bottom and(接) bounces(動詞) back up to your eyes.

10)Certain opaque objects(Certain opaque objects主語), like the mirror in a bathroom,bounce(動詞) almost all the light back into the air instead of absorbing★ it.

11)Since(接) most objects(主語) do not make(動詞) light,we(主語) are able to see(動詞) them only when(接) light(主語) bounces(動詞) off them.

12)He(主語) discovered(動詞) that(接) the color of light(the color of light主語) that(関係代名詞の主格+=主語)◎ hits(動詞) an object and(接) then bounces(動詞) off it never changes(動詞).

少し複雑ですが以上でいかがでしょうか?
