先日この欄での質問に対してアドバイスをいただき
CBSに問い合わせをしました。
問い合わせ内容は
表題シリーズに和訳字幕を付けて公開する許諾を
もらえますか？と言う内容です。

断りのメールに下記文書が添付されてきました。
英語力があまりないため、知りたいのですが
警告とか、あなたを監視してます、みたいな意味が
含まれているのでしょうか？

subtitles for and to upload on YouTube. We appreciate your enthusiasm for the Property.
However, after due consideration, we must decline granting you permission to use – and are
proceeding based on the expectation that you will not use – the Property as requested.
The foregoing is not a full statement of CBS Broadcasting Inc.’s position, and we reserve all of
our rights in connection with the Property and otherwise.

特別の許可は出せません。

あなたが、我々の所有物に対する権利を尊重していただけることを期待しております。
というレベルで警告とか監視とかの文言はないです。
