How to use " replace" in Japanese

Actually　this is a Japanese question.
Can anyone tell me how to say

" The bus was used for the replacement of the car. Because there
were too many people and the car is too small for everyone to fit in.)

please help!

If you want to keep it simple,

basu wa jikayoosha no kawari ni tsukawareta.

slightly more formal

basu wa jikayoosha ni kawarumonotoshite shiyoosareta.

If you want to emphasize 'It was the BUS', you can say 'basu GA'

Pさん、英語でかかれていたから、どうせけされるんだからと思い、読んでも見ませんでした、というのが本音。

始めは、日本人の方で、IMEが入っていないので、英語でしかかけないと思ったのです。

この英語はアメリカでも使いませんよ。　私の思うに、この人がこのフィーリングを日本語で言ったら（日本語教えているのか）どうなるか知りたかったんじゃないかな。

質問のタイトルの英語も、本文も、日本語感覚で行くと、言っている事は分かります。　でも、英語としては、need much improvementです。

どうせけされるので、自分なりに英語に換えてみようかな、と思ったけど、ひま人だと思われたくないのでよします。　＜ｇ＞

ここの使用ルールではっきりにすべて外国語で書かれた質問（回答は良しとする<g>）は削除される事になっています。

日本語で書けばいいのにな、と思いました。でも、再質問してくれる事を祈っています。

皆さん質問が全部英語だから、
気がついていないかも知れないけど、
無茶区茶変な英語ですよ。

Japanese "Kuruma" is often used to mean as whole of auto-mobile (include bus).
So,if you want to put emphasis on difference between bus and car,
it is better that you use "Joyosha" or "Jikayosha".

Kuruma no "kawari" ni basu ga tsukaware mashita. Nazenara takusan

n no hito ga ite, kuruma dewa chiisa sugita no desu. The word KAWARI implies that you put one thing away and bring a new thing in return.

"replacement" you mentioned is translated to "kawarini" in Japan.

In this site the question may be deleted if you write in only English. I recommend you write one sentence written in Japanese.
この　バス　は　車　の　かわり　に(or として）つかわれた。

車（乗用車）の代わりにバスが使われました。

なぜなら、非常に多くの人がいて、全員が乗るにはその車は小さかったからです。

kuruma(jouyousya)no kawari ni basu ga tukaware mashita.
nazenara,hijouni ookuno hito ga ite,zen'in ga noruniha　sono kuruma wa tiisakatta karadesu.
