恐らく各問題に共通する語句が怪しいと思うのですが…1はend,2はcontent,3はsideで4はbeatの用法かなと。

補足拝見しました。

英作文の日本文が、「少女時代」となっているので、childhood だと「子供時代、子供の頃」となりますが、特に問題はないと思います。ただ、この和文英訳をしている時も思ったのですが、「少女時代」が、何歳あたりを指すのか、曖昧な日本語の様に思いました。あまりに幼いころと考えると、「物理や数学」と言う部分と矛盾します。when I was a school girl 等とするしか仕方ないかもしれません。

geniuses は、genius【名詞】の複数形ですから、looked like geniuses [to me] の様に、like がある方がよいように思います。
look＋形容詞、look like＋名詞、が基本だと思います。（look like + S + V の様な形もよく見かけまが・・・。）

全体としてみれば、十分な和文英訳に仕上がっていると思います。

辞書を引いたところ、「少女時代」にはちゃんとgirlhoodと言う語が出てきました。
しかし、仰るように、問題の年齢を考慮すると、確かにchildhoodでは幼過ぎる気がしました。
