がMr. Beanを演じる時には（　　　）な子供をイメージしながら演じる
とインタビューに２００１年ぐらいに応じていたのを思い出したいのです。

（）内は陰湿な　ひつこい　がんこな　粘着気質のような表現でした。

私自身は、ローワンが「Mr. Bean は『９歳の子供がやるような行動』を取る」と言っていた記憶があるのですが、その他だと、この記事のことでしょうか？

Philip French of The Observer referred to the character of Mr. Bean as a "dim-witted sub-Hulot loner" and said the plot involves Atkinson "getting in touch with his retarded inner child."

sub-Hulot は分からないのですが、dim-wittedだと、成長していない、思慮のないおばかさ加減でしょうかね。
