（ ）に入る単語がどうしても分かりません。推測できる方、ぜひ教えてください。

Only the things in at. →　間違いがあるのでは？
I think I properly it this way.　→　この分は完全におかしいです。properlyの後に動詞が抜けていると思います。
charlesやsylvie, english, frenchは大文字でないとまずい。
thats → that's

いろいろ入力ミスがあり、すみません。

たしかに、itのあとのatは不要です。
Only ～の部分も、atではなくitです。

I think ～のproperlyの後がおかしいとの指摘についてですが、じつは、properlyの部分も（ ）だったんです。
説明するの忘れてましたが、この穴埋め問題は、リスニングがついています。リスニングを聞いて穴埋めする問題です。リスニング音声を聴かせられれば良かったのですが、教材の音声なので、勝手に投稿するわけにいかないので、文字だけになりました。
音声の発音的には、properlyに一番近いと思ったので、properlyにしました。

Properlyの後の文章は、間違っていませんでした。ということは、properlyが間違っているのですね。
似たような発音の単語で、当てはまりそうなものはありますか？

Well, where did everything go? Charles sold it all at (auction). This is all I have left. I love this room, but Charles never really saw it, only the things in it.
I think I prefer it this way.
What are you going to do?
Try and get my old (job) back at EURESCO I suppose.
Doing what? I'm a (simultaneous)(translator), like Sylvie. Only she is
English into French and I'm French into English. That's what I was doing before I married Charles. Police probably think I killed him.

4番の回答者が見つけて下さったスクリプトがあっているとするならば、答はこれですね。大分真剣に考えて答を出したのですがーー。
probablyのところはpreferですね。きっと。
なお、simultaneous translatorという言い方は、少なくてもアメリカ英語では、simultaneous interpreterでしょうね。
listeningなしで、これを解けと言われても、ネイティブでもわかりませんね。
