ここまでで主語。
「図書館からロマンスを２冊、１週間借りる年配の女性は」

would not want to「～したいとは思わないだろう」

access those
those は前の novels のこと。

a cumbersome screen を先行詞として、which 以下が修飾。
which (gives her eye-strain) and (is expensive and charmless)
