英訳が正しいかどうかを確認してもらいたいのですが・・・

「もしあなたが、時には努力してもそれが実らない時があると教えられたとしても、それは間違ってる。仮に本当だとしても、努力した人が報われるとは限らないけど、報われた人は皆努力しているので、それを信じるべきではない。」
を下のように英訳しました・・・。間違いを教えてください。また、不自然な英語のようなので、模範解答も教えてくれると嬉しいです。

If you told that you even if you try harder, you will meet with a moment that you can't make it you shouldn’t believe it,it is wrong.

If it is true you shouldn’t stop your effort because all rewarding people were making an effort though the person who made an effort was not necessarily rewarding.

英訳の方も間違いが散見しているので、いくつかピックアップします。

If you told that you even if you try harder

「もしあなたが～教えられたとしても」とあるので、If you told は受身に。

you will meet with a moment that you can't make it you shouldn’t believe it,

「you shouldn’t believe it」が急に出てきてますが、これはいらなくないですか？

because all rewarding people were making an effort though the person who made an effort was not necessarily rewarding.

people were makingのところが過去進行形になってますが、ここは意味的に現在完了形の方がいい気がします。
でももし「彼らが報われたときは努力していた」という意味ならば過去進行形の方がいいと思います。ただしこの場合は「彼らが報われたとき」という文をひっつけなければ意味は通らないでしょう。


この第2文、言いたいことがよく分からなくなってしまってます。
というのも、僕の日本語能力のなさかもしれませんが、原文が何をいいたいかよく分からないんです。
原文の理解ができない限り、英訳なんてとてもできません！ｗ

この部分は重複ですよね。

とりあえず修正すると下記のようになりましたが、どうでしょうか。
If you are told that even if you try hard, you will meet with a moment that you can't make it, you shouldn't believe it. It is wrong.
Even if it is true--perhaps people who have made efforts would not necessarily be rewarded--you shouldn't stop your efforts because all rewarded people have been making great efforts.

あるいは
If you were told that sometimes you won't make it regardless of your efforts, I believe it's wrong. You should not believe it even if it's true because every successful person works hard.
とかどうでしょう。
