Spain while it was blessed.
There it goes our thoughtful passenger, remembering with sadness the bad way he was acting in his last life, the dangers he has passed through and the mismanagement he has led with his good( or it can be "assets" as well) and his money and, while he was waking up, losing sight of his dear Spain, he took the steady resolution of changing the way he lives to care about his assets and to be respectful from now with women.

これで、私たちの思いやりのある乗客はいなくなった。

前世での悪行、経験した危険、幸福（財産と言ってもよい）、お金の管理不行き届きを思い起こし、目は覚めていたがいとしいスペインを見失い、これからは財産を大切にし、女性にも敬意を払うように生き方を変えようと、着実に決心したのだ。

訳しておいて言うのもなんですが、前後がないからか、
さっぱりわけがわかりません・・・。
