どう言えばいいでしょうか？

ヘルメットを注文していて今日入荷すると聞いていたので　知人に今日入荷するってと以前言ってしまっていたのですが　今日の入荷は黒と白だけだったそうなんです。。　知人の欲しいグレーは実際は８月上旬だそうなのです。。
そこで　これを言うにはどういえばいいでしょうか？

私の考え。。
* I told you before your helmet will arrived 25 th .. but they said it was arried only Black and white .. well ..It will be arrived of BrightSilver
on beging Aug ..They not sure about the date ..

なんですが。。。　教えて下さい！
それと　行ちゃったら時間の無駄だから。。メールしました～　ってどういえばいいでしょうか？？

なるったけ簡単な英語にしました。

それからlilychanさんと同じ単語をなるべく使用してみました。
ニュアンスは少々違いますが、十分に通じるでしょう。

I told you before that your helmet would arrive today, but actually only Black and White ones arrived at the shop today. You have to wait till the beginning of August for your BrightSiver helmet. They are not sure about the exact date of its arrival. I send this e-mail just to inform you that there is no need for you to go to the shop today, because you can't receive your helmet.

これにお詫びの言葉でも入れれば使えるでしょう。

ちょっと解説不足でしたので、再度。

最後から２文目の

(ヘルメットの入荷日について気を付けておきますので、何かわかったらすぐ連絡します)…くらいの解釈で。

については ご質問にはありませんでしたが、一応フォローの意味で勝手に付け足しました。 お詫びの意味も少し入ってますね。

あと最後の
＊I just wanted to let you know about this before you go to the shop.

の後に付けたしで、for your convenient (あなたの都合を考えて…のような感じで ) を入れた方がより親切かもしれません。

…という事で最後の文は
＊I just wanted to let you know about this before you go to the shop for your convenient.

＊I have a information for you regarding a BrightSilver helmet you want. It did not come to the shop today, although,I told you before it would. Actually, there was a new coming of the helmets, but gray ones weren't on the list and only black and white ones came. The next possible coming day will be beginning of August, but they are not sure about the exact date so far. I will keep an eye on the helmet and will immediately inform you if I got a new information.

I just wanted to let you know about this before you go to the shop.

Well, the color bright silver which you wanted will come
at beginning of August, they are not sure about the exact date.

多分、会話のほうは、もっと得意でいらっしゃるのでしょうね。
そんな感じがしました。

行っちゃったら時間の無駄だからっていうのが
相手の方の時間の無駄なのか（waste of your time)
ご自身の時間の無駄なのか(wasting my time)
わからなかったんですけども、時間の無駄っていう言い方って
あんまよくないかなぁとおもって、
「そっち行くより、お手軽だと思ったんでメールしました（ウィンクマーク）」
としました。

Though I told you before that the helmet you ordered will be available today, it was wrong. They say only black-colored and white-colored ones are available today. Your gray helmet will be there in the beginning of August. They can't tell what day it will be yet.

I mailed you to tell this to save your time.
