工業英語の訳し方について

はじめまして！

「金属中にニッケルが入っていると、強度および延性が高くなる。」

という日本語の文の英訳についてなんですが、考え方としては、「ニッケルを含む金属はより強い強度と延性を与える」と考えて、"Metal containing nickel gives higher strength and ductibility."という感じでよいでしょうか。
もしくは「金属にニッケルを加えると、その金属自体がより強く、高い延性を持つ」と考え、"Adding nickel to metal makes it (the metal) stronger and more ductile."とすべきでしょうか。

また、他に考え方などがあればご指導ください。

addingの代わりに an increaseを使うこともできます。

例えば・・
An increase in Nickel content in the metal provides high strength with good ductibility.

私は工業ではなく物理や生化学などが専門でしたが、An increaseはよく主語として使いました。ご参考までに。

の方が流れがよいですね。

私なら「金属が~~~される」と工業英語らしく受動態にしました。

enhance alloy 等は工業系で大変馴染みやすく使えると思います。

どちらかというと
Adding nickel to metal makes it (the metal) resistant and more ductile.
のほうがいい気がします。

工業用語だと「resistant」のほうがよく使いませんか？？
