Refugees receive a lot of indemnity every month from Tokyo Electric Power company.
避難民には東京電力から多額の賠償金が毎月振り込まれている。

サラリーマンの平均月給は30万前後だと言われているが賠償金は一人当たり10万円である。つまり、４人家族ならば一か月の収入は40万円ということになる。果たして、この額は適当なのだろうか。
今、この多額な賠償金が様々な問題を起こしている。

They receive generous monthly　damage payments from the Tokyo Electricity Company.

While the damage payment is 100,000 per head, an average office worker is said to make 300,000 yen a month, meaning a household of four, receives 400,000 a month. Is this a proper sum?

Now, the generous amount of the damage payment is causing many problems.
