drive-by noise testとは？

レースカーなどのノイズ規制に関して、stationary noise test （あるいはstatic noise test)と、drive-by noise testというのがあるようなのですが、この場合、前者は、車両が静止した状態でのノイズテストで、後者は車両が走行している状態でのノイズテストということでしょうか？

　ですから騒音測定装置の傍を、被検車が、色々な速度で走り、そのノイズを調べるテストです。

drive-by noise test 又は drive-by noise acceleration test は

drive-byが通過するですから「通過時のノイズ試験」となります。

その詳しい意味は、車が加速して所定の間隔に配置された騒音測定装置の
前を通過するときの騒音の試験と云うことです。

これに対し、stationary noise test は一定速度で走行しているか又は
アイドル状態の車の騒音試験です。
stationary or slow speed manoeuvring noise testと云う表現もあり、
stationary vehicle noise test carried out at high idle (75% of
the max power speed). 等の様に使われます。
