日本における長寿の背景となっている要因について考察していきたい。
I am going to consider a factor becoming the long-lived scenery in Japan.

For male, Shigechiyo Izumi who is a Japanese man has a world longevity record.

He has a unique story.

When he updated Guinness Book of World Records he was asked by reporter.
"what is your favourite type of woman?"

（★貴訳）life expectancy in Japan lengthened rapidly after the WW2.

（★コメント）
○「日本における平均寿命」は、「日本人の平均寿命」と考えたほうが正確でしょう。Average Japanese life expectancy
○「第二次大戦」は、the Second World War ないし World War II です。（貴訳の "the" が不要です。）
○「伸びた」は、後に続く文章から、現在完了がいいでしょう。

（★代案）Average Japanese life expectancy has increased sharply after WWII.

（２）今では先進欧米諸国を凌駕して、長らく世界最も長寿国となっている。
（★貴訳）It surpasses developed countries and becomes the world longevity country for a long time.

（★コメント）
○「凌駕して」のsurpassesが現在形なのはよくないので、分詞構文処理をするのがうまい手だと思います。
○「先進欧米諸国」の「欧米」が抜けています。
○「長らく～となっている」：現在完了がふさわしいですね。

○「背景」にscenery はヘンです。使うなら background ですが、もう少しうまい言い方がありそうです。どうして日本はこんなに長寿国になったのか、というあたりをパラフレイズする気持ちで．．．

○Japanese current life expectancy is 79,00 years old for maleは confusing です。日本人男性の平均寿命＝79.00歳、日本人女性の平均寿命＝85.81歳とすべきです。

（★代案）The current average life expectancy of Japanese men is 79.00 years, while that of Japanese women is 85.81 years; both sexes enjoy the highest record in the world.

（５）特に女性は、1985年以来連続して世界一となっている。
（★貴訳）A woman have become the best average life in the world since 1985.

○「女性」は複数で考えるべきです。
○「連続して」は何とか工夫したいですね。consecutively とか on end とか。

○日本文にありませんが、泉重千代さんは、男性としての最長寿者ですね？
主語と補語を逆転させたほうがいいでしょう。

○「ユニークな」は、面白いくらいでしょうか。

（★代案）When he updated the Guinness record in longevity, a reporter came and asked the oldest man alive what kind of woman was his type. "My senior" was the surprising answer!

　とても格調の高い立派な英文です。　一部現在完了形にしてみました。　こうすることで文章全体に臨場感が出ると思ったからです。　原稿が立派なので筆を入れることもないと思います。　参考になれば幸いです。

とりあえずですが、

WW2はtheはなくてもいいと思います。

１９８５年以来連続では、何年連続でを入れたほうがいいかもしれません。

とりあえずですが、下記のように書きました。
Life expectancy in Japan soared after World War 2.
Now Japan has the world's greatest longevity for so long, surpassing developed Western countries.
I am going to look into factors/secrets behind Japanese longevity.
Current average life expectancy in Japan is the highest in the world - 79,00 years for men, 85,81 years for women.
Japanese Women's life expectancy remained the world's longest since 1985.
Japanese Shigechiyo Izumi has the title of the oldest man to have lived.
There are unique stories about him.
Asked by a reporter what your type of woman was, when he broke the guinness book record,
he said, "my type is an older woman than I."
