iPod nano 1.2から1.1へバージョンダウンする方法を教えてください

PCにiPod nano(1st)を接続した際（iTunes起動中）、1.2へのバージョンアップを促されて、何も考えずにバージョンアップしました。

ところが、iPod nanoの表示が若干変わってしまいました。

以前の表示の方が良かったので、1.1にバージョンダウンしたいのですが、その方法が分かりません。

どなたかiPod nano(1st)に詳しい方、アドバイスをお願いいたします。

ちなみに、OSはWindows2000です。

アドバイスありがとうございます。

iPod Downdater v1.1でバージョンダウンを試みましたが、「Error:I/O Error.(Read)」というエラーメッセージが現れて、結局バージョンダウンできませんでした。

私がiPod Downdater v1.1の使い方を誤ったのでしょうか。ちゃんとREADME.TXT通りにやったつもりなんですが…。

という情報を得たため、gdiplus.dllを探す旅に出ました。どこに含まれてるのかわかんねー

認証コード入力してEXEファイルをダウンロードしたら
【実行せずに】解凍ソフトにかける。

でてきたgdiplus.exeを実行し、デスクトップでも指定してあげればgdiplus.dllを取り出せます。

度々すみません。

なんとかgdiplus.dllを入手し、ipodwizard.exeと同じ場所に放り込んでみましたら、iPodWizardが起動しました。

ところが、いざiPodWizardが起動したはいいものの、

右の方にあるiPodWizard EssentialsのRefresh Statusをクリックし、プログラムがipodを見つけたら、Downgrade Firmwareをクリック

Downgrade Firmwareをクリックしたところ、「不正な処理をした」とかでエラーが出て、iPodWizardは強制的に終了してしまいました。

何度かやってみましたが、結果は同じでした。

その時、PCはiPod nanoを「リムーバブルディスク」とみなしているようなんです。

もうバージョンダウンは諦めた方が良いのでしょうか。

himajin100000はipod非所持者であり、世代間の差がわかっていないので的外れかもしれません

1. Your iPod needs to be in disk mode (look in iTunes Preferences, under iPod tab) and you need to have your computer set to View Hidden files.

まず一番目の方法でやってみたのですが、

のところで、gdiplus.dllがないとのエラーメッセージが出て、頓挫してしまいました。

次に、二番目の方法ですが、

to

テキストエディタでBuild IDを変更する

から
buildID: 0x05908000

このような文は見あたりませんでした。

他に方法はないのでしょうか。回答のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

というファイルがダウンロードされましたが、.dmgファイルを開くアプリケーションが分かりません。

どのアプリケーションで開けばよいのでしょうか。
