上記英文を名詞化すると下記のようになると文法書にあったのですが、何をどうすると下記のようになるのでしょうか？

眺められることの5分以内にーーー眺めて5分と経たないうちに

そして有益な変化を促進する
, such as lower blood pressure and
、例えば血圧の低下とか…

(訳)研究が示したところによると、ある種の自然の眺めは、眺めて5分と経たないうちに、前向きな感情をはぐくみ、血圧の低下…の様な、有益な変化を促進することができる。

私は上記のように読んだのですが
being viewed は nature scenes を受けて出てきたので「眺められること」が直訳的な意味だと思います。

また

education by the parents of their children
子供の親による教育ーーー(1)
education of their children by the parents
親による子供の教育ーーー(2)

は少し複雑な英文中に上記のような表現が出てきたときは、そのもとに

The parents educate their children.
親が子供を教育する。

があることを忘れずに、(1)、(2)のような硬い訳し方をせずに、
「親が子供を教育すること」等と訳出してはどうかということを、文法書の中で取り上げたのだと思います。

by the parents が education の主語の役割
of their children が education の目的語の役割

をしていることを見逃すな、ということではないでしょうか？
