Fair hit

銃弾の規格についての質問です。

A hit that impacts the ballistic resistant protective material at an angle of incidence no greater than5°, and is at least 5 cm (2 in) from a prior hit or the edge of the test specimen and at an acceptable　velocity as defined in this standard. A bullet that impacts too close to the edge or a prior hit and/or at　too high a velocity, but does not penetrate, shall be considered a fair hit for the determination of　nonpenetration..

　防弾物体に5度くらいの入射角で、またその前の衝突位置か目標物体の縁から少なくとも5センチ（2インチ）離れていて、この基準に定める許容速度で衝突する場合である。

防弾物体の端からの距離もしくは前のヒット位置に近すぎ、かつ （もしくは） 速度が速すぎても、弾丸が貫通しない場合には、非貫通の判定における有効射撃とみなされる。
