begin withとbegin at

「第一章から始めましょう。」を英訳する場合Let's begin with Capter One.というのはアリでしょうか?
『at』は正解として載っていたのですが、『with』が載ってなかったので気になってます。

絶対にダメということはないでしょうが，どちらかといえば，with はばらばらに存在するもののうちのコレから始めるという意味合いでしょう．たとえば，複数の本があり，そのうちのこの本から始めるという場合とか，どの仕事から始めるとか．

ある範囲があって，そのある一点から（例えば，あるページから）は　at で，ある時点から始める場合は at （時刻）か on （月）です．
例文では，ある本の中の（，他の章からでなく）第一章からというので at を正解としたのでしょう．

間違え易いのは時を示す場合の from です．これはある時間の継続を意味するので，いつからだけでなく，いつまでを示す必要があります(from～ to～)．begin from とはなりません．

●withもatも、どちらも「あり」と思います。

●begin with ～は、「まず最初に～から始める」という意味、またbegin at ～は、「～から始める」という理解になるのではないでしょうか。
●コウビルド英英辞典は、beginの項で次のように説明しています。
◆If you begin with something, or begin by doing something, this is the first thing you do.（何かから始める‐begin with something‐、あるいは、何かをすることから始める‐begin by doing something‐とは、その何か‐something‐が、あなたが最初に最初に始めるか行うものごとである。）
◆［例文］Could I begin with a few formalities?（最初に、二～三形式的なことから始めさせていただいてよろしいですか。）

少ない例ですが、アリました。"Let's begin with Chapter One"で検索すると約19件ありました。検索条件は(Yahoo!、アメリカ、英語、完全一致)です。

"Let's begin at Chapter One"で検索するとありませんでした。同じく検索条件は(Yahoo!、アメリカ、英語、完全一致)です。『with』はあるのに、正解であるはずの『at』がないのはなぜなんでしょう。



同じ検索条件で、"at chapter one"のヒット数は約6,820件。そのうち、begin に修飾するものは、(start、stop、lookを修飾するものなどの除外検索によって、約65件に絞った内の、)、わずか１３件です。

回答有難うございます。すみません。たくさん例文をいただいたのですが混乱してきました。atの方が使われている例があまりないということですね。英語は論理的だと昔、予備校の先生が仰ってましたが、僕が思うに論理的に解釈しなおした日本人の勤勉さを称えるべきなのではと。実際のところ英語にはまだまだ論理的でない部分が(特に僕自身にとって)結構あるような気がします。

●「withは後に続くものがある場合」かどうかは知識がありません。しかし、「始り」があれば当然次に何かが来るわけですから、後に続くものの有無は関係ないように思います。
●ジーニアス大英和では、自動詞としてのbeginの項に、begin at = begin withと説明しています。[begin at page five, line ten ＝ begin with line ten, page five（5ページの10行目から始める）]となっています。実用的にはwithとatとは似たようなものだ、ということに解釈できます。
●withとatのニュアンスの違いから、No.1さんのようなくくり方（区別の仕方）になるのではないでしょうか。
●なお、先の回答で、＜「to begin with」を、used to introduce the first point to make（するべき最初の点を導入する）＞としましたが、まるカッコ内を（何かするときの最初の点を導入する）に訂正します。

ご指摘いただいたような理解をしております（No.4での文章の後に、記載を省略しましたが、Unit 3以降についてもbegin withを使用して同様な説明がされています）。
また、No.4の冒頭の
「begina at/begin with/chapter」は、誤りで「begin at/begin with/chapter」です。よろしくお願いします。
