配送の遅れについてのお詫び文

この度は荷物の配送が遅れてすみませんでした。
日本の郵便局で調査したところ、荷物が見つかりました。
昨晩、郵便局員が私の家に来て、お詫びしてゆきました。
本日、荷物を再配送しましたので、もうしばらくお待ちください。

I am deeply sorry that the delivery of the parcel was delayed this time.

Japan Post retraced the parcel and they found it.
Last night a person from the post office came to my house and apologized about it.
Today I shipped the parcel once again, so please wait for a little while more.
I appreciate your endurance.
