夢についての話です！

(4)If you live in the northern part of Japan where it snows heavily, you may think of snow as a burden. (5)But if you live in the south where it seldom snows even in winter, you may think of snow as romantic.

(1)上記の解釈は妥当なもののように思えるが、全員に同じ様にあてはまるものではないことを強調しておく必要がある。

(2)人はみんな、バックグラウンドが違うので、同じことを夢に見ても、人によって違う意味になることもある。(3)例えば、雪に対する考え方は人によって違う。(4)雪がたくさん降る日本の北の地方に住んでいる人は、雪を「重荷」と思うかもしれない。（5)でも、冬でも雪の滅多に振らない南に住んでいる人は、雪を「ロマンチックなもの」として考えるかもしれない。


(6)このように、夢の持つ隠された意味を解釈しようとする時には、注意し過ぎということはない。（７）同じ人が同じ夢を見ても、二回目は解釈が変わる可能性もある。(8)結局のところ、「夢には本当の意味はない」と言う脳科学者達の言うことは正しいのかもしれない。(9)でも、夢によって自分のことがよりよく理解できるなら、それを活用しないてはないだろう（使えばいいではないか）

　上に記した解釈はもっともらしいものであるが、すべての人に同じようにあてはまるものはない、ということを強調しておきたい。
