恥の文化・罪の文化とかいってラインを引きたがる人

欧米人が罪の意識だけで（内面にかかわる）行動を決定するかのような言い方するを人がいますが、本当でしょうか？
引用英文のような言葉をさがすのはそんに難しくないと思いますが、どうでしょう。
周囲の目が行動を抑制するとき、日本人の場合と本質的な違いでもあるのでしょうか？

もしかしたら、きっちりラインを引く人は、範囲を限定するとか、条件をつけるとかを怠っているのでしょうか？
もしそうなら、それはどういった補足説明になるのでしょうか？

欧米人にも恥という概念はありますし、

日本人にも罪、という概念はあります。

また、個人差もあります。
日本人に近いような恥、という概念をもっている
欧米人もいるでしょうし、欧米人に近い罪、という
概念を持っている日本人もいると思います。

デジタル式に、黒か白か、と考えるから
おかしなことになるのです。
現実は、アナログで、濃淡があるのです。

しかし、欧米人という集団と、日本人という集団
とを比較した場合、そのような違いが認められる
ということです。

何か違う生き物のような言い方をしている書き込みを読んだ後だったので、ほっとしました。


質問の一行目ですが、「を」の位置が二字うしろにずれてます。
意味を取るのに問題ないと思いますが、触れておきます。
