In addition, covariates known to be risk factors for falls and characteristics related to use of sedativehypnotics were examined for inclusion in a multivariable model, with those factors related to falls, non-benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotic use, or benzodiazepine use at p <0.1 included.

②95%信頼区間とは＝研究データの統計的安定性の指標のこと。
多人数の調査で得られた結果の方が，小人数の調査の結果よりも統計的に安定し、この安定性の程度を定量的に示したものが信頼区間となる。

☞薬の使用と転倒のリスクとの関連を、統計的に検討したところ、転倒の再発は、ここでは、薬を使用しないグループより、薬を使用したグループの方とで、優位な差がみられたということのようです。

三回のclinical examinationを被験者は受ける必要があり、それを三度とも受けて登録を完了したら．．という事でしょう。

一度も転倒しなかった群と一度以上転倒した群を比較した95%信頼区間と、２度以上の転倒と０回もしくは一回だけ転倒した群を比較した95%信頼区間を求めという事でしょう。

どこが分からないのかを書いたらどうですか？

試験方法、除外した人、統計手法しか書いてないので、何も難しいところはないかと思いますが。
強いて言えば、fallをどう訳すかですが、ベンゾジアゼピン系の薬の話なので転倒と訳すべきなのかと思います。
