ご質問者の解釈で合っていると思います。

あと、これは蛇足かもしれませんが、「crestal approach は1〜2ヶ所なら良いが、3ヶ所以上のインプラントには向かない」という趣旨であれば、私の感覚だと、制限用法の that require a height increase in bone at each site より、非制限用法の , which require … で書いてくれた方が分かりやすいのに…と思います。（more than two adjacent implants で a height increase in bone at each site が不要な場合もあるという含みなんでしょうか？）
