Compassion is thin.

Impudence is thick.

Heart/Spirit is weaker than expected.

Will power is actually stronger.

Waste is greater than you ever expect.

　金言ですね！身にしみます☆
　強調構文で統一し、the case is other way round （あべこべである）を統一のために使いました。動詞（assume, consider...等、変化のため変えました。）

高いつもりで低いのが教養。
It is your education that you assume higher than what it really is.

低いつもりで高いのが気位。
It is your self-conceit that the case is the other way round.

深いつもりで浅いのが知識。
It is your knowledge that you consider deeper than what it really is.

浅いつもりで深いのが欲望。
And it is your lust that the case is the other way round.

厚いつもりで薄いのが人情。
It is your heart that you imagine fuller than what it really is.

薄いつもりで厚いのが面皮。
And it is your cheek that the case is the other way round.

強いつもりで弱いのが根性。
It is your grit that you presume stronger than what it really is.

And it is your stubbornness that the case is the other way round.
