warn は warn 人 that 節，warn 人 to 原形

とは言えても，warn 人 ＋ ものという単純な SVOO は使いません。

それより，conditions の後に what ～ が続くのはおかしい。

what is S like?
S という主語があって，what は like につながり，
「S はどんな感じですか？」
これの間接疑問文が
what S is like という構造。

ただ，warn 人 wh- というのも一般的ではありません。
warn 人 about ～の about が省略された形でしょうか。
疑問詞節の前の前置詞はしばしば省略されます。

高地での状況がどんな感じか（について）私に警告してくれた。
