5K, 10K and half-marathonとあるので、このandでこの３つが結ばれていることがわかります。
half-marathon の後のandは、to compete. . . と (to) dominate. . . の動詞の句を結んでいます。
trialsの後のandは、dominate the Olympic traialsと(then) place in the top three at the Olympicsを結んでいます。
