英文で分からない箇所がありました

英文を読んで分からない箇所がありました。正確を期して下記にやや長い英文を引用させて頂きますが、教えて頂きたい箇所はほんの一部です。
Alfled Nobel sadly put down the newspaper. No, he wasn't dead―his brother Ludwing had died the day before, and the French newspaper had made a mistake. All the same, he was diaturbed. Was this yhe way the world was going to remember him? He did not like that idea at all. He had spent his life working for peace in the world. He hated violence and war. He had invented dynamite to save lives. Other explosives used in those days were very dangerous. He wanted people to remember him as a person of peace.
Alfred Nobel invented dynamite at a perfect moment in time. Many countries were beginning to build railroads and tunnels, and needed a safe, powerful explosive to construct railroad tracks through mountains.

文中に Alfred Nobel invented dynamite at a perfect moment in time. の in time は「やがて、そのうちに」という意味でしょうか？「やがてアルフレッド・ノーベル氏は絶好の時期にダイナマイトを発明した」と読んで間違いないでしょうか？学校で配布されたプリントの和訳は「やがて」などという訳はなされておらず、「アルフレッドのノーベル氏は完璧な時にダイナマイトを発明しました。」となっておりましたが、今回出てきたin timeは「やがて、そのうちに」を意味するものではないのでしょうか？瑣末な質問で申し訳ありませんが、分からないので教えて頂けましたら幸いです。

そのin timeは「時間的に」のような意味。

a perfect moment in timeで「時間的に完璧な瞬間」のようなことだと思います。

以下のような表現も参考にして下さい。

a point in time （ある）時点
at this juncture in time 現時点では
at this distance in time これほど時間が経った現在では

in time には「間に合って　遅れずに」の意味があります。

at a perfect moment in time　の訳として「絶好のタイミングを逃すことなく」というのはいかかでしょうか?

この文より前に、発明の動機や、彼の願いが記述されており、すでにダイナマイトを発明したことが暗示されています。
また、この文より後には、社会が鉄道建設のために安全で高性能な爆薬を望んでいたことが続いています。

この流れの中では、in time は「やがて、そのうちに」はあり得ず、「タイミング良く」「絶好のタイミングで」と訳出するしかありません。

ちなみになのですが、「タイミング良く」といった意味はat a perfect momentにもはや表れているはずだと思うのですが、では何故わざわざin timeが必要なのでしょうか？in timeがなくとも良く感じられるのは間違った感覚なのでしょうか。
