付帯状況のwith

なぜ「目を輝かせながら」が
with my shinning eyesがだめで
with my eyes shinningなのかがわかりません。
確かに主述関係がＯＣ構造をとるので付帯状況ができるのはわかり
ますが。
またmyを取ってwith shinning eyesもダメといわれました。
理由はwithにingがつかないといわれましたが何か納得いきません。
詳しい解説を是非お願いします。

shining です。

さて、この付帯状況ですが「with +O +α」の形をとって初めて「Oを～しながら」という意味を出すことができるのです。「+α」は分詞のことが多いですが、そうでないこともあります。

with a pipe in his mouth 「パイプを口にくわえて」

ともかく「with」「O」「分詞など」の３拍子が付帯状況になるのです。

with my shining eyes が「ダメ」というのはあまりに受験文法的発想というか試験対策的な発想です。「（自分の）輝く目で」何かをしたのならこのような形で書くしかありません（例文はちょっと思いつきませんが）。

my など所有格が必要なのは、所有されるものには所有格を伴わせるという英語の習性のためです。日本語より所有格が使われることが多く直訳すると不自然になるのは経験がおありでしょう。

「with に ing が続かない」なんて理由になりません。第一、with shining eyes（所有格があるべきですが）では、前置詞の with が支配しているのは eyes という名詞で shining は名詞を修飾する形容詞のようなものです。with と shining は隣り合っているだけです。

with one's eyes shinning　と　with one's shinning eyes　（with shining eyes）　ではニュアンスが違います。

with one's eyes shinning が「目を輝かせながら」「目を輝かせて」なのに対して、with one's shinning eyes　（with shining eyes）　は「輝く目で(の)」といった感じ。（ with （one's) green eyes が「緑色の目で(の)」というのと同じ様な感じ ）
※また、文脈上誰の目か分かりにくいとか、「誰の」を強調する場合以外は one's の無い with shining eyes のほうが普通なようです。
