when the season comes でよいと思うのですが、なぜ、
be +過去分詞comeとなったのでしょうか。こういう慣用でしょうか。

昔の文法と今の文法が変わらないとすれば、受身文と取る以外に文法的な解釈はできない。

能動態に直して考えると

until the season for sailing is come （by you yourself)
↓
until you （yourself）come the season for sailing
come＝他動詞
1. Chiefly Brit.to do; perform; accomplish.

と訳しても差し障りはないと思われる。

　　指摘された問題点を整理してみますと、

　　　mine;my cargo

convenient;必要な
