とあるのですが、itは何を指すのかと、takaはここではどういう意味なのかわかりません。itが仮主語だとすると、takeはどう訳すのですか。

what it takesは「必要なこと」

whatever it takesは「必要なことなら何でも」

takeにはneedの意味があります。辞書のtakeの項をよーく見れば載っています。itはto不定詞を受ける仮主語だと思います(文法には自信なし)。

She has everything it takes to be the gold medalist.
彼女は金メダリストになるのに必要なすべての条件を満たしている。

金ヨナのような人のことですかね。
